Just about everyone in the world is looking for the best quick ways to make money and they are trying to do it online since it’s the cheapest and quickest way to make the amount of money you need.

If you’re like me, then you may have been hit by hard economic times and are looking for a way to supplement your income, or make money on the side to help out. No matter what the reason is that you’re looking for quick ways to make money then you know to know about Affiliate Marketing online.

Sounds easy?

Well it actually is once you get the hang of it, and the money you can make may shock you. It sure did with me when I made $9465.68 in two weeks last summer. That is 100% the truth too, I was looking for quick ways to make money, had experience in designing websites, heard about affiliate marketing, and stumbled upon a very hot niche with low competition.

Time have changed though, and if you’re looking for ways to make money then you need to focus your efforts on one niche, and one affiliate program. Why do I say that? Because far too many people make a very common mistake when trying to make money with affiliate marketing.

One of the top mistakes when trying to find quick ways to make money online is creating ads for too many different “categories” rather than focusing effort on dominating one niche. Now I say categories because that is very different than a NICHE. A category is broad, like entertainment or finance, etc… But a NICHE is a targeted topic within a broad category.

For example:

Let’s say your category is Pets and Pet care. Now you don’t just want to market towards every single pet out there at the same time, right? You’re only one person and you’re campaign to find quick ways to make money will be long and hard if you stretch yourself too thin.

Instead, let’s break it down: Pets --> Dogs --> Dog Training --> How to potty train a dog.

You see what I’m getting at?

That’s how you find a niche, perform keyword research and make money with it. Now you can create dozens of blog posts, articles and social networking links to dominate a niche market, and find quick ways to make money as well. 20 article about one niche, spread out on multiple article websites, have a much better chance of getting listed in the top 10 of Google rather than if they were posted about different topics all together.

That’s one main factor that people miss when they starting trying to make money online with Affiliate Marketing.
